Elden Ring has now received its first Game of the Year trophy from the Japan Game Awards at the Tokyo Game Show and it seems many more awards will follow. The FromSoftware game won a total of three awards at the Japan Game Awards. Earlier in the awards show, Elden Ring also received the Award for Excellence which is given to all Game of the Year Finalists. Hidetaka Miyazaki was recognized in the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award for contributions “to the development of the Japanese home video game industry....

As per its earlier promise, EA Motive Studio dropped footage of the remake of the space horror genre-spawner. It’s safe to say that the Frostbite engine is far from outdated. What’s more important is that the remake is indeed a faithful recreation of the original trilogy. The observant Dead Space fans will spot several familiar scenes in the revamped U.S.G Ishimura that will be making their return in the current-gen exclusive title....

Fantasian is releasing the second part of its game Friday the 13th. Let’s hope that the launch goes to plan! The first part of Fantasian was released on April 2, earlier this year. Although its Apple Arcade (macOS, iOS, tvOS) exclusivity blocked many players from enjoying Fantasian, the masses who did play the game have not been short on praise, saying that it breathes the essence of Final Fantasy. Now, the second part of Fantasian promises double the playtime, additional features such as swapping your party members mid-battle, an expanded Growth Map - sort like a skill point board to customize your characters - and is said to be more quest-driven than the story-driven first part....

According to an ad from the official PlayStation Twitter account, FF16 will only be a “PS5 exclusive for six months” after it comes out next summer. Harrison Ford and his iconic fedora made an appearance at Star Wars Celebration with the actor confirming that the movie is almost finished. Indiana Jones 5 sees a star-studded cast of characters join Harrison Ford in his return as the titular archeologist. Among others who’ll be joining Ford are Mads Mikkelsen and Antonio Banderas. Unfortunately, Steven Spielberg didn’t sign on to direct his fifth straight Indiana Jones film, but he is one of the film’s producers....

Kojima Productions confirmed the “enhanced and expanded” version of Death Stranding on Thursday, June 10. The studio’s announcement came with a nearly 3-minute long teaser. It showcased Sam Bridges, the protagonist of Death Stranding that was played by Norman Reedus, somewhere on an underwater level.
