According to The Hollywood Reporter, a new King of the Hill is in the works. Unfortunately, Daniels and Judge did not share anything outside of confirming the series’ return. In addition to King of the Hill, the duo are also working on Netflix’s Bad Crime, which will star Lauren Lapkus and Nicole Byer. King of the Hill was one of the few animated sitcoms on FOX to give The Simpsons a run for their money. King of the Hill aired for several hundred episodes between 1997 and 2009, treating audiences to the mundane but related day-to-day struggles of Hank Hill and his family. Fans have asked for King of the Hill to return for years, but this isn’t the first time that this has been brought up. Back in March, Brent Forrester alluded to the show’s revival. The writer claimed that Hank Hill will return albeit 15 years older following the series finale. Speaking of an iconic animated series making a return, another one of Judge’s first creations, Beavis and Butt-Head, is going to get a revival film as well. With so much going on for both Judge and Daniels right now, we’re interested to find out how they’ll make King of the Hill’s revival work. But, more importantly, we’re just happy to know that Hank and the gang are back.
